  • Popped in on a Saturday afternoon after seeing the road side sign near Booths in Ulverston. What a little gem in the middle of nowhere! Fantastic place and the gin was fab, will definitely be going again as they do afternoon tea and tours of their gin distillery and you can also arrange to make your own gin. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming.

  • We booked afternoon G&Tea as a valentine treat. On arrival we received a lovely, friendly welcome from Zoe and were taken through to the distillery, where Andy gave us an interesting insight into the distillery process. Both were excellent hosts throughout our visit. Having settled ourselves in the comfy armchairs in the bar area, we were served with a scrumptious afternoon tea - with gin. As the designated driver, I opted for Earl Grey tea served in a lovely teapot! My husband had a couple of very happy hours trying the fabulous gins! The afternoon tea was beautifully presented and extremely filling. The tray included delicious cakes and scones each with a subtle flavour of gin. You even had the opportunity to create your own little slice of gin drizzle cake! The bar itself is quirky, and has a lovely view of Hoad Hill. It's such a pleasant place to sit, relax, drink gin, and watch the swans glide by on the canal outside. A great way to spend a Friday afternoon! We'll be back.

  • A quirky and fun bar that's got so much character. We only visited for a short while and got to taste some of their very moreish gins. What nice people and we were impressed with their knowledge. Proper craft spirit makers.
